Ambrose Consulting is led by Ed Doherty, who has a wide variety of national business and non-profit management experience, ranging from managing a $45 Million Division of a large national restaurant company in San Francisco, to an extended tenure as the very successful New England Market Executive Director of a national non-profit, to leading the human resources team of a Memphis-based company with 11,000 employees. His experience includes leading a 22-store restaurant company in Cincinnati as its President, and serving as the local or national leader of Training and Management Efforts for all of the organizations.
Ed also has also taught Menu Engineering at Cincinnati State College, and lectured at the University of Tennessee Medical School. He volunteers as a member of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Birth Defects Surveillance Advisory Committee, as an Advisory Board Member of the Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Improvement Network, and he is the Undergraduate Advisor and the President of the Phi Sigma Kappa Alumni Association at the University of Massachusetts. Ed was recently selected to join the Board of Tomorrow's Women Today, a premier networking, mentoring and development organization.
He brings a diversity of leadership experience at many levels of the organization, including with volunteer leaders, to be able create a customized project or projects that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of a workforce and its leadership.
